The Framework

Seven areas of life, looked after together, wherever you're starting from.

Why seven

Often we get help with one thing at a time: a trainer for fitness, someone else for diet, another person for breathing or stress.

I like to look at all seven together, because in real life they’re all connected.

Sleep affects how you feel in a session. Breathing affects how calm you feel. What you eat affects how you recover. When we look after them together, small improvements in one area help the others too.

That’s all the COMMAND framework is: a simple way of looking after the whole of you.

The seven pillars

Your strong foundation

Conditioning

Your base of physical strength. We build it gradually, at the right level for you, so everyday life feels easier: carrying the shopping, playing with the kids, walking the hills. Strength, stamina and resilience are a great place to start, and they're one part of a bigger picture.

Breathing well, every day

Oxygen

Most of us never think about how we breathe, yet small habits like breathing through the mouth or high in the chest can leave us tired and tense. The good news is that better breathing can be learned, and it's often where people feel a difference first. As a qualified Oxygen Advantage instructor, I'll show you simple techniques that help with energy, sleep, recovery and calm.

Moving freely

Movement

Mobility is about moving comfortably and freely. Years at a desk, sport, busy days or simply sitting a lot can leave us stiff, and sometimes sore. We gently work on how you move first, so that everything else feels easier and safer.

Calm, steady confidence

Mindset

How we think about effort, rest and ourselves shapes how we feel. I'm not a therapist, but I can share simple, practical tools for building habits that stick, being kinder to yourself on harder days, and staying calm and steady when life gets busy.

Moving more, day to day

Activity

A session is one hour, and the rest of the day matters too. Activity is the walking, the gentle daily movement and the steps that quietly add up. We set realistic, achievable goals together and find easy ways to break up long periods of sitting, so moving more becomes part of your normal day.

Simple, realistic eating

Nutrition

Good nutrition doesn't need to be complicated. I won't hand you a rigid meal plan or ask you to weigh every gram, because those rarely fit real life. Instead we'll look at simple habits: getting enough protein, building a balanced plate, eating well around exercise, and making easy choices on busy days. The aim is a way of eating you enjoy and can keep up.

Rest is part of the plan

Downtime

Rest is when your body gets the benefit of the work you do. Without enough sleep and recovery, exercise can leave you more tired rather than less. Together we look at your sleep and how you wind down, using simple practices like breathing, stillness and proper rest. Good sleep makes everything else easier.

How it works together

The seven pillars work best together. We don’t tackle everything at once; we start where it matters most for you, and add the rest at a pace that feels right. Small steps in each area soon add up.
